About me

Born in Denmark, studied in England, started a family in France and currently living in Switzerland with my husband, 3 boys and 2 cats.

I have always been fascinated by the arts. I have early childhood memories of my mother taking me to art museums in Copenhagen and wanting to create when we got back home. Later as a teenager, walking around the harbour in Copenhagen, investigating and taking photos of old boats and containers and looking out to the sea in the distance, appreciating the beauty around me.
I later graduated with a BA (hons) Fine Art at Staffordshire University, England where I was surrounded by old factories and industrial buildings in the middle of beautiful and diverse countryside. This has all been great inspiration to my work.

I work from memory or use photos as inspiration to create paintings that capture a moment in time. Whether it be oil or acrylic or mixed media, I use painting knives and other tools to layer and play with different techniques on the canvas.
